Award winning actor, playwright, director, Tammy Anderson has many credits to her name; performing at Sydney Opera House, Theatre Royal Hobart, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Dreaming Festival and The Malthouse Theatre. Tammy's theatre performances include; Walking Into The Bigness, The Call, The Sapphires, I Don’t Wanna Play House, Stolen, Itchy Clacker and Natives Getting Funny with the Ilbijerri Theatre Company.  Her film credits include Boxing Day and The Sapphires.

Tammy has been a winning recipient of The Uncle Jack Charles Award and The Uncle Bob Maza Award

Her first children’s book SAM (Oxford University and Laguna Bay Publishing), has been selected to be a part of the national curriculum and is now in 9000 schools around the country.

Tammy is now studying her second Masters Degree at The School of Film and Television, Melbourne University - Directing Narrative where she’s just completed her first short film, BEAUTIFUL MESS. 


Tammy will talk about her experience in promoting indigenous theatre and film.
